DAY 25 - SAVED BY THE BELLS

Earrings-Frances Boutique, Shirt-F21, Sweater-Tulle, Jeans-Hudson, Purse-Perlina, Shoes-Michael Kors

I had a hard time choosing an outfit for day 25. I had a head wrap , skirt and sweater that I was set on wearing but then I saw some bell bottoms at Gap that I fell in love with. I remembered that I had some Hudson Bell bottoms I had bought last year but I couldn't remember where I put them (or who I gave them to). I went out to the garage and looked in a box and bam!, there they were. My Hudson Bells saved the day. I hugged them, kissed them and then smelled them (and quickly put them in the wash).  When I put 'em on I smiled and vowed to never abandon them again.

After I folded my bells neatly on the second shelf in my closet I ran downstairs to make a delicious treat for my sweetsie's birthday. I stirred up some brownie mix and put it in the waffle maker. 5 minutes later I took my brownie waffle and covered it with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and blueberries. It was seriously the best dessert I have ever made.

P.S. I'm ending theASOS giveaway a little early. Thanks to all that participated. Here is the lucky winner.

DAY 24- MY FRIDAY MUSTACHE

Skirt, shirt, bolero-BCBG, Purse-Chanel, Earrings-Macys, Shoes-Steve Madden

Happy Friday everyone. I'm super stoked for the weekend because I get to sleep in and snuggle with my babies in the morning. It's also superbowl weekend. This is the day when I pretend to like football and stuff my face with yummy food. This year, I invited some girl friends over so we'll chat it up while the game is going.

So, one more day of outfit dissections. Don't worry though, because I have some fun stuff lined up. Oh, and don't forget to sign up for my giveaway.

DAY 23 - GET IN SHAPE GIRL

Jacket-Kohls, Shirt-BCBG, Belt-H&M, Scarf-F21, Jeans-Seven for all Mankind, Legwarmers and Earrings-Target, Shoes-Urban Outfitters, Sunglasses-Fendi

Today, I'm wearing legwarmers. Yes, I said legwarmers, inspired by my Get-in-Shape Girls set I got for Christmas when I was eight. My GIS set included a baton, legwarmers, cassette tape and leg weights. I loved it so much that I wore the leg weights and legwarmers for an entire week.

So check it out, I've actually busted out these legwarmers before. This photo was taken in 2005 and I'm actually pretty surprised that I still have these babies.

Look at that cheesy smile I'm sporting but look how cute we are. That photo was taken back in our dating days...Andy's so cutsie.

P.S. I don't usually dress like that. I was Get-in-Shape Girl for Halloween for my ward party and Andy had just gotten off work so he didn't dress up.

DAY 22 - ANOTHER V-DAY DISASTER

Shirt and Shoes-F21, Bag-H&M, Pants-BCBG, Watch-Michael Kors

Good morning! I hope those of you living in the Midwest and back east are staying warm. Not to rub it in your face but the high today in Phoenix is going to be 50 degrees. That's actually 20 degrees colder than it was just a few days ago but it beats a couple of feet of snow.

So yesterday I promised another Valentine's Day story so here it is. Two years ago and 3 days before Valentine's Day, Andy and I were sitting on the couch talking. He asks if I think that he would need to make a restaurant  reservation for Valentine's Day.
My reply: You haven't made a reservation yet?
Andy: Uh, no. So you're saying I should make one?
Me (frustrated): If you haven't made one yet, there's no way you'll find anything good.
Andy: Yes I will. Don't worry.
A few hours pass.
Andy: I told you not to worry.  I've got a 6:00 reservation at a very cool restaurant.
Me: Wow, I'm impressed!
And I was impressed...until Valentine's Day arrives, we head to Old Town Scottsdale and we pull up to a tiki bar. Can I reiterate something?  It...was...a...BAR!!!  We walk in and the only people in there are the employees getting ready for the night. It was sooo embarrassing.  When he told one of the employees about the reservation I almost died!  We sat down and I stomached one of the worst Hawaiian meals I've ever had.

Make sure your husband and/or boyfriend knows that you need to make reservations AT LEAST a few weeks in advance. You'd think they would know that but...

DAY 21 - OH, NO...V-DAY IS COMING!

Shirt, Bag and Skirt-H&M, Shoes-BCBG, Necklace and Brooch-Vintage, Watch-Michael Kors

Okay, I need to laugh at my photos for a moment. Ha, ha, ha ,ha...okay, I'm done. Wait, ha, ha, ha. Okay, that should do it. I'm going to look back at the million photos I've had Andy take of me and laugh even harder one of these days. I like having my picture taken, but I want to pose with a silly face every time, I need to stop looking so serious.

So, ladies it's February, which means Valentines! Woo, woo! Okay, I love Valentines Day, but Andy hates it and because he hates it I have had some interesting Valentines Days. Like last year, we went to Rocky Point with my Brother and Sister-in-Law and their kids. My Brother-in-law gives his wife a gift card to Lucy and then Andy busts out his gift - Tootsie Roll pajamas from Walmart. Andy must think I'm still 12 years old. Come back tomorrow and I'll share my Valentines story from the year before that.

P.S. Do you guys have any funny V-Day stories?

DAY 20 - GREENS ARE GOOD FOR YOU

Dress-H&M, Tights-Target, Necklace-Kohls, Hat-Target, Fur-H&M, Earrings-F21, Shoes-Steve Madden

Last night, Andy, Lauren and I had an amazing dinner with my good friend Michelle and her husband. We had cabbage, chicken stir fry and a salad with Craisins, Gorgonzola cheese, almond shavings and poppy seed dressing...super delish. Oh, and a wonderful dish of cake and ice cream for desert. After dinner we searched for a movie on Netflix.  Their "Watch Instantly" section is pretty strange.  We kept saying, seen that, never heard of that, looks stupid, seen that, only got 2 stars and so on.  With their oddball compilation of movies and four people that have seen a ton of them, it was pretty tough. So, we finally landed on Dude, Where's My Car because two of us hadn't seen it.  We lasted about 10 minutes before the other two remembered how dumb it is.  Did I get smarter or did the movie get dumber?

So, we only have 5 more outfit dissections left and, I have to say, I have discovered a lot about my style along the way. One thing I learned was that I don't accessorize enough so now I'm experimenting a lot. Today, I added a few accessories, hope you like.

Happy Monday!

DAY 19 - HAPPY FRIDAY

Bolero-BCBG, Dress and Belt-Target, Shoes-Kenneth Cole, Ring-Frances, Earrings-F21

I'm so glad today is Friday. This has been a long week. I can't think of anything to write about today and people keep coming in and out of my office.  So, I'm going to make this short and sweet.
Happy Friday! Have fun this weekend and if you're in Phoenix and have nothing to do on Saturday, hit up Frances's 75% off sale. See the above Leopard ring I'm wearing? Yeah, that's a Frances find and I love it.

P.S. I have really veiny hands, nurses love them. If you haven't noticed them, look at my hand holding the flower, my veins actually cross, making an X. Do your veins do that?

DAY 18 - FUCHSIA FRILLS

Skirt-Ann Taylor, Shirt-Macy's, Shoes-Last Chance, Bag-Nordstrom, Necklace-Anthropologie

Sorry about not posting day 18 yesterday. I was crazy busy. I was trying to be Super Mom. You know, the Mom that comes home from work, cooks dinner, does laundry, gives her sweetsie a bath, then reads to her, sings to her, does the stuff that she brought home from work...and then she's supposed to take photos and post a blog? Crazy, right? Anyways, I passed out before taking photos so I tried to look extra pretty for you today.
So, back to this Super Mom business. Being Super Mom is hard. In fact it's impossible and we, as women, love to hold ourselves to impossible expectations with little reward. So, I want you Foxy Ladies to do something for me...stop and go do something for YOURSELVES! I recommend finding something in fuchsia like the heels I have above (Last Chance, baby!)  Maybe all you need is a 32 oz. soda from QT and a long bath but do something for you!
Gotta go, love you, bye.

DAY 17 - DECORATED OFFICER

Jacket-Express, Dress and Necklace-H&M, Belt-Nordstrom, Shoes-Urban Outfitters

I found this sweet jacket last week for $19.98 at Express and had to get it. I love military green because it goes with so many things. You can pair it with almost any color.
So, I found this great little spot to take pictures yesterday.  It's a bunch of big silos and some old farm equipment.  Just as quickly as we could snap a few shots off, a big red truck came flying down the dirt road, followed by a tan cloud of dust.  He pulled up, turned off the big diesel engine and politely asked us to leave.  Hmm. So that's what those NO TRESSPASSING signs meant. I was definitely bummed because the lighting was absolutely perfect. At least I got one good shot.

Let me know if you have any "getting caught" stories...picture taking or otherwise.

Day 18 coming up...see you tomorrow!

DAY 16 - PINK AND PERIWINKLE

Entire outfit from H&M

If you're wondering why the two upper photos look different from the last photo, my camera battery went dead. The two top photos were taken with Andy's Droid...not bad, right?

Today, I woke up happy and refreshed and ready to get the week started. I chose an outfit from H&M today because I've been talking non-stop about them.  Plus, it's been a little depressing knowing that we only have a few months left of pants weather.  So I'm pulling out the Spring colors early. Let me know what you think.

Happy Monday!

DAY 15 - COLD SHOULDER

Leather Jacket-Express, Top-H&M, Pants and Shoes-Nordstrom

Today I felt like being a bad girl. I retract my statement. I AM a bad girl, but today I'm coming out of the closet (so to speak).  My evil twin, Audrina, showed up to help extract and display my bad girl side. Audrina likes to come out in the morning when I get woken up, when I'm on my period, when someone chomps their gum, or cracks their knuckles. She comes out a lot more than she should. So, today, Audrina came out during my photo shoot and totally gave me the cold shoulder. I tried to look back at her with doe eyes and a pleading smile, but no, she wasn't having any of it. Luckily she didn't stay for long.

Well, Foxy Ladies, have a fabulous weekend and come back Monday because I've got some great outfit ideas for next week!

DAY-14 DRESS FOR WORK

Leather Skirt-H&M, Top-H&M, Belt-Nordstrom, Shoes-Stuart Weitzman, Necklace-Premier Designs

How often do you get dressed up to do a little vacuuming? Did I hear a never? Well, I always do. I'm the kind of gal that never lets her husband see her without makeup. Okay, let's get serious, it's usually Saturday mid-morning, no makeup, no shower and I'm wearing my boyfriend sweats. I'm not Betty Draper from Mad Men, after all.  Speaking of boyfriend sweats (and I do seem to speak of them often), they're amazing and if you don't already have some I think they would make an amazing addition to your valentine's gift list...just sayin.
Happy Thursday my Foxy Friends!

DAY 13 - DAPPER DENIM

Shirt-Banana Republic, Hat-Eugenia Kim, Skirt-H&M, Shoes-Michael Kors, Belt-F21, Necklaces-Last Chance

Yesterday, in an effort to be the domestic type, I had dinner ready for Andy as soon as he got home from work.  Like a typical bone-headed guy, he talked business on his cell phone through most of it.  I went upstairs to pout and, next thing you know, we're on our way to H&M!  I wish he'd talk on his phone at dinner more often.
H&M is fun because it offers so much diversity.  Instead of coming out looking like an Express mannequin, I can take one piece from one side of the store, another piece from the other, and make an original outfit with an original statement.
Have a beautiful day!  Let's meet up here again tomorrow.

13 DAYS LEFT

Dear Foxy Friends,
I want you to know that I love each and every comment you leave me. I also wanted to recap the last 12 day of outfits for those of you that need a refresher.  The next 13 days are going to be even better, so keep coming and visting me.

I freakin love you,
Living Foxy

DAY 12 - AT HOME WITH LIVING FOXY

Romper-F21, Top-H&M, Scarf-Target, Shoes-Stuart Weitzman

Like any sane human being, I love to lounge around the house and read.  Admittedly, I don't usually get dressed up to do it but my VS boyfriend sweats and comfy t-shirt don't qualify for an Outfit Dissection.
As always, let me know what you think.  I really love feedback and it doesn't have to be a compliment.  Feel free to tell me what you'd do differently.
I hope you enjoyed the H&M SS/2011 collection sneak peak on yesterday's Foxy Feature. I know I did.  I'm pretty sure Hennes&Mauritz is Swedish for "freakin' awesome clothes that are fashion forward and not too expensive." At least, that's what I remember from that semester I took in high school.
I have more Foxy Features coming up so make sure to come back and visit.

P.S. I linked the H&M SS/2011 Lookbook video below, because I know you're excited for the arrival of their collection too.

DAY 11 - BUY YOURSELF SOME FLOWERS

Shirt, Pants, Hat and Necklace-Anthropologie, Shoes-Jimmy Choo

Spring is coming and I'm getting sick of wearing dark colors. So, today I'm sporting spring colors. I think it's important to dress how you feel before following the "rules" of the season.  Don't you love the pastel colors in the floral print blouse I'm wearing?  I used to hate floral prints because they reminded me of the 80's but my heart has softened, I've repented and now I'm no respecter of prints. So, I'm recommending floral prints to you, my Foxy Friends, and if you would like to send me a photo of you in a floral print, I'll feature it on my blog. So, send it to superlativerehabATgmail.com

DAY 10 - MALL STORIES

Jacket-F21 (borrowed from my friend April), Pants-JCrew, Necklace-Kohls, Shoes-Coach, Sunglasses-Urban Outfitters

It's only day 10?  I mean, Yeah! It's day 10! Not to rub it in for my colder weather friends but it was 71 degrees when I took the above photos.

Last night I went out with my friend Alisa. We went to Blue Wasabi and then walked around San Tan mall when, all of a sudden, I see a man in a mini skirt. His thigh highs came down just below HIS skirt and he had a long blonde flowing wig. This is the second time I've seen this man at the San Tan mall and I can't figure out why I never see him walk in any stores...he scares me.  Anyways, I had to get that out because I'm still picturing his large man calves trying to walk in 6 inch wedge heels!
Which reminds me of this time when I worked at Express, a man with large calves walks in and asked me if we sold XL thong underwear and I didn't see any on the shelf so I went in the back to check, I looked and couldn't find any. I explained the situation and asked if his girlfriend or wife would wear any other types of underwear and he stopped me and said they were for him...crickets. So do any of you have any strange mall stories for me? If so, leave me a comment.

Happy Friday everyone! Come back on Monday to check out day eleven.
