DAY 9 - THE HIGH LIFE

Jacket-Thrifted (Hollywood Regency), Sweater-H&M, Skirt-H&M, Tights-Nordstrom, Bag-Chanel, Necklace-Thrifted, Shoes-H&M

Today is day 9 and I tried a bun. I never wear my hair in a bun and I'm not loving it. I am loving the outfit though. I adore the detail on the skirt and my fur jacket and the bag are a big bonus - Chanel is such a classy brand.
This morning, I woke up, put my outfit on, walked over to my bed and kissed my babies. My little one wouldn't stop crying last night so she slept in our bed. I know we shouldn't, but Andy and I have had the hardest time getting my little girl to sleep consistently through the night. Anyways, out the door and down the road to work. When I walked into the high-rise where I work, I felt like a New Yorker (I don't see a lot of females in my building dressing up like this but I'm sure they do in New York).  I walked into my 10th floor office, draped my coat on my green chair and sipped my chai tea as I watched the sun rise above the city.
Stay tuned for day 10!  Oh, and a question for the Foxy Ladies with children: have any advice on getting an 18 month old to sleep through the night in her own crib?

Sexy and sophisticated! I am pretty relaxed on schedule during the day BUT at night there is a nightly routine so they know its bed time and they are staying in bed until I get them in the morning! I would let her cry for like 30 minutes and then go in there tell her its okay but its bedtime and then lay her back down put the blanket over her tell her goodnight and leave again. The first night you might have to do it a few times BUT NEVER pick her up out of the crib. She will finally get you mean it and find a way to soothe herself back to sleep.

Good luck and I hope it works!!!

So you wore that outfit to work? You really are something Audrey. You looked gorgeous of course. I'm not about letting her cry too much. It's ok once and awhile. But she really may just want more of your attention.
