7 Days of Valentine - Day 3

Andy, again.

Have you ever picked a pound of chocolate for someone?  Well, I hadn't.

It's actually pretty fun and when the crowd starts to line up behind you, it's all out nerve wracking!

We've been married for almost 5 years but we've never spent an afternoon talking about our favorite types of chocolates.  So, after picking a few that I've seen her eat before, I was left to come up with other methods of choosing.  I tried to pick some that I thought represented her personality.  That didn't last long.  I love her personality but it doesn't taste very good.  I asked what their most popular pieces were and chose a few of those.  After all these methods, I still had to choose like 19 more.  I ended up resorting to getting what I like for a lot of them because if she doesn't like them, at least I know someone does!

Once received, going through and eating a hand picked box of chocolates is a lot like being married to Audrey.  I'm learning new facets of her personality all the time.  It's quite awesome! Before her, I dated a lot of girls who could be compared to eating the same sweet chocolate everyday.  Sounds nice, right?  Not for me.  I need dimensions, and plenty of them.  Even if I bite into something I don't like from time to time, I learn something about myself and know that the next bite will be even sweeter because of it.

I love my baby.  I'm excited to share some chocolates with her tonight!

Well Andy, you are awesome. Audrey really couldn't be treated better. Those chocolates though... a pound is quite a bit. We are now enjoying chocolates 2 to 4 at a time. A pound is weigh too much!!! Anyways, right now Audrey's fine with the pound... Right on track so far. Happy Day!
